Safety is a must
I am often referred to by my clients as a baby whisperer because, from specialising in newborns and being a mum myself, I understand and have the patience your newborn needs to feel in safe secure hands, a must for positioning your baby into comfortable and adorable poses.
As sweet and adorable as these poses look, they take great skill and know-how to properly position your newborn correctly. It is very important that you can trust your photographer with handling and posing your baby safely. Some of the poses that we create are only able to be fully realized in post-production as it would be unsafe to attempt the position otherwise, such as resting their chin in their hands, and posing in baskets.
Only the best will do
In order to provide high quality images, you can’t afford not to have professional photography equipment. From cameras to lenses to lighting to post-production, I’ve invested endless amounts of money in some of the best equipment and software available on the market in order to maximize the quality of your finished product. The kind of quality that no amount of skill can be produced with any Android.
Consistency goes a long way
This goes hand-in-hand with experience but I feel it is important to touch on this subject. You are hiring me to create images like the ones you see here on my website and throughout my blog. It has taken years of practice to develop a style of photography that is consistent, both within each photo of each session but also across all of my sessions. You can have peace of mind knowing that I will capture a minimum of 15 images, each one as beautiful as the next.
The end result
With portfolio’s it can take over 32 hours to complete, I ensure that your images are of the highest quality. This means that your final images will be calibrated for the most striking, colour accurate images available on the market.
Specializing in newborn, and child photography, I have the greatest appreciation and respect for these fleeting moments and feel a moral responsibility towards providing the highest standard of exclusive customer service and care. From the moment you enquire about a booking to the moment you receive your final product, you will notice the attention to all the little details that will make your professional photography experience with me an unforgettable one.
You can tell when you see photos and know instantly that they were created by “a professional photographer”. These are the things we carefully plan, even for a lifestyle session. You put on your best outfit, make-up, hairdo, look your best and we do the rest. Everything on them is beautiful, your expression, your emotions, the light, the angles, the editing… created, just for you!
Be in the photos
Mothers work the hardest but they also love the hardest. They love their baby so much that they will spend their days and nights, taking photos of the baby asleep, awake, yawning, having a bath, eating, cuddling with siblings, and cuddling with dad. There will be so many images by the time the baby turns one and the sad reality is that mum will hardly be in any of them. For some having a baby is an immensely joyous occasion but also extremely tiring. As mums, we are often exhausted from the birth, and lack of sleep from before and after the birth that we would rather do something else than try and take that perfect shot. Memories become a blur and fade away so quickly and soon turn in to regret. Hiring a photographer to capture those precious memories is a must! Something you will never regret.
It brings families together and improves children’s self-esteem.
Putting portraits on your walls of your photos is proven to build high self esteem in your children. It shows them that they are a member of the family, and that they are valued.
If you have newborn photos, it shows them how much they were surrounded by love.
Obviously, for your children, having a professional portrait of them or a photograph that you took with your camera won’t make a difference, but for you as an adult you will love to have a beautiful professional photo of high definition and on a high-end product that only photographers can source.
